Betriebsrat are must for giant organizations

Betriebsrat are formed to address the needs of employees of an organization. Some Betriebsrat are specifically formed within an organization, whereas others are formed as a generic body that addresses the needs of any one.

Improving productivity and maximizing profit are one of the main goals of any organization. Even though most companies have set forth rules and regulations to address the needs of employees, those rules fail to serve the employees in all situations. In such a case, the employees have to struggle a lot to meet their demands. Communicating with the top level of an organization is not that easy in many companies. So, it becomes more difficult for employees to effectively communicate their problem with the management.

An effective management is the one which addresses the need of employees and obtains feedback on the solution applied to solve a problem. There are only quite a few organizations that take proper care to meet employees’ needs. On the other hand, we also see most companies and giant organization functioning properly, so most of them either have rules and ways to address the needs of employees or have some form of employee redressal system. If an organization does not meet the needs of employees, then the plight of employees become difficult.

Every one prefers peaceful coexistence to perform business efficiently and maximize its output. A Betriebsrat is a solution for giant organization which has huge number of employees. A Betriebsrat helps to address the needs of employees effectively as it is a single body representing the whole group of employees. Some organization have Betriebsrat formed specifically to meet their needs, whereas there are some generic Betriebsrat which addresses general concerns like: finding jobs, vacancies or to establish contact with an organization.

The main goal of a Betriebsrat is to perform impartially to address the needs of employees, so it is the responsibility of employees to take care that a Betriebsrat is not corrupted, otherwise the whole purpose of having one such body would not serve its purpose. In giant organizations, it becomes mandatory to have a Betriebsrat. In small organizations, there is not much need for Betriebsrat, but it can be associate itself with third party genuine Betriebsrat. A Betriebsrat is a boon for employees as communicating their problem and getting a solution for the same becomes very easy. The process also saves a lot of time for employees.
